Our Residence & Garden Hotel DAS MATSCHER is located above the wine village of San Michele in the Überetsch wine region. Surrounded by the rolling vineyards of the Bolzano valley, our property offers breathtaking views of the Merano mountains to the north. The Salten, a mountain ridge between Bolzano and Merano, with its vast larch meadows, is perfectly visible from our location.
From our hotel, you can also admire the iconic Schlern, the symbol of South Tyrol, and the Renon, with its famous Renon peak, forming the heart of the region. The Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude plateau, is also visible, along with the enchanting Rosengarten, whose peaks glow red in the evening light, inspiring ancient legends.
